3+ Mind Blowing ideas to Warm a Bottle Without a Bottle Warmer

1: Tap Water Method

Tap Water Method

The tap water method is at the top of the list when it comes to heating bottles naturally. Most of us have geysers or normal tap water in our homes. On winter nights the weather is already very freezing, you can use normal tap water that comes from underground pumps when you turn on them. The fresh tap water is normal in temperature and warm as compared to room temperature.

On the flip side, if you have a geyser in your home, you can use geyser water to warm up refrigerated bottles or chilled milk before feeding your baby.

2: Bottle inside bowl Method

Bottle Inside Bowl Method

The bottle-inside-the-bowl method is the 2nd method for warming bottles that I learned from my mother. It is a traditional yet successful one, of all the methods that I will let you know here.

Take Lukewarm water inside a bowl and put your bottle filled with milk inside it. Keep it inside for a couple of minutes, as time passes the temperature of the bottle will match the water temperature of the bowl of water.

The Bowl method requires no cost. It is the best method when you are preparing your baby for bedtime and you have time to feed it.

3: Hothands Handwarmer Method

Hothands Handwarmer Method

The hot hand handwarmer method comes in benefit when you have no access to electricity to run your geyser or about no access to water to warm up your bottles.

Hot hand handwarmer is the best alternative to all the above-mentioned methods. You can buy a hand warmer from an online store any time and you will get it on your doorstep.

These hand warmers are portable and handy and they can be carried anywhere with you easily. These are the best options when you are traveling by air going on a trip in a luxury car or for a picnic party. Just pack some hand warmers inside your baby bag.

I have tested these warmers once in my life when I was going on vacations out of the country. So literally they helped me a lot in those days. They were my life savior at that time. You should also consider them in that situation. Have a good baby feeding!

4: Heating Pad Method

Heating Pad Method

The less used but with care is the 4th one (heating pad method) in my list. As a female, you may have a heating pad that most often, we use for pain relief in periods. You can also use them to warm up your bottles. Let’s explore how to use it.

Turn on your heating pad and wrap it around your baby bottle for a couple of minutes. You will get your bottle warmed up in a shorter period of time.

Plus point? These heating pads have three or more types of settings in them for temperature. You can choose High, medium, or low as you wish. For me, when I am in a hurry, I choose to select the high-temperature setting for fast heating.

You won’t need to buy an extra bottle warmer if you already have a heating pad with you. It is the time when you can kill two birds with one arrow LOL!

For Testing Milk temperature you can put a few drops in your palm or wrist. If it feels very hot then wait for the temperature to a lower level if it’s normal you can use it.

Wrapping Up!

I have compiled this guide according to my experience and the best knowledge I have. If you know any other method other than these ones. Just drop it in the comments, I will try my best to add that method in this guide also. Have a happy baby feeding!
