How to descale a milk warmer?
A milk warmer is one of the common warmers used for heating up baby milk or breast milk nowadays. To descale your milk warmer, you can follow the traditional method but it’s a successful one. In this method, we use vinegar and glacial acid. Such agents could be very aggressive to damage your device.
Household Tip: You can also use kitchen vinegar for descaling your bottle warmer.
Method? To descale it, you can add tap water with a 1:2 ratio of vinegar. Turn on your warmer at a low level. Let the power on for 10 to 15 minutes until the steam comes out of the milk warmer. Then, let it cool down. Drain the vinegar water off of the warmer. Furtherly, rinse the container with ordinary tap water and try it. Hurrah! its descaled.
How you don't need to Descale the warmer?
To be very honest, if you are very careful in cleaning your warmer after every use. Then, you don’t need to descale it. Moreover, it is highly recommended to flush your warmer often.
How do I personally descale bottle warmer?
For me, I usually use white vinegar for descaling purposes. I mix it in the water and add it to the base of the warmer. After that, I just power on my warmer and let it warm for at least 30 minutes at a slow temperature. After that, just drop the water out of the warmer. Next to it, just dry it and clean it safely and its done.
